This simple yet powerful app directs the user to a specific latitude / longitude geo coordinate. A map showing the highlighted route guides you to your destination.
This app was designed with Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue first responders in mind. First responders are often dispatched to calls where someone call 911 asking for help but is then disconnected before a proper address can be obtained. The dispatcher can usually obtain the last known latitude and longitude coordinates from the caller and provide them to first responders. These coordinates are then entered into the app for directions to the person.
You can store multiple waypoints and navigate to them. A compass view with a red directional arrow is available to guide you "as the crow flys" directly to your destination.
A metronome also "beeps" when you are within one mile of the destination location. It will speed up as you approach closer to the destination.
Note: This app was designed for iPhone 3GS and later models that contain a GPS. It will operate with limited functionality on older 3G models running 3.1.2 software or higher.
